Kaitlyn

Kathy's daughter Kaitlyn just turned 3 months old yesterday. I met Kathy through a mommy and me group and I'm glad we stayed friends. She is one of the nicest persons I have met living in California and it's such a joy to be around her and her kids. I had the opportunity to take some photos of Kaitlyn today. We dressed her up in a tutu and angel wings. She is so adorable and a very good baby.

Geri & Aubrie

My friend Monica has a friend named Geri who just had a baby girl about 2 weeks ago, her name is Aubrie. They came over today for some new baby photos. I was surprised that Aubrie stayed awake the whole time, even after several feedings she did not want to go back to sleep. I don't blame her, a baby can tell when they are in a different place. Aubrie was a good sport, thanks Geri and Aubrie.

Brown Family

Burton is a good friend of my husband Robert. They served in the Marines together. Burton and his wife Penny have to beautiful boys, Cameron is almost 3 and Emerson is almost 1. They are so adorable and were a lot of fun to photograph. Burton's mom and grandma were in town visiting so the family decided to do some pictures together down at San Clemente State Beach. It was so nice out and perfect weather for pictures. There is a train track that runs along the beach, we managed to get a photograph of the boys on the track.

I really love how the Brown Family pictures turned out. I like to give my clients a"sneak peak" of their pictures before giving them to them on a disk. It takes about a week to edit my pictures and I know how anxious people can get waiting to see the final results so I just wanted to post a few more of the Brown family

Engagement

Yency is a teacher at Tristan's school and is engaged to be married in December. Today I took her engagement photos at one of my favorite parks in Downey. Her and her fiance are such a beautiful couple and they compliment each other very well. It was such a joy to photograph them today, I'm looking forward to photographing their wedding in December.

Renee

Today was defiantly an adventure. It all started at 8:30 this morning. I dropped off Tristan at daycare then headed over to Renee's house to pick her up so we could go take her pictures. She had been asking me for awhile to do her photos, gosh I haven't really taken any photos of Renee since high school, she was my model for photography class.
I never considered that living in California is a desert and that summer time the landscape is not pretty, no flowers are in bloom, everything is brown and dead. So after going to 3 different parks in 3 different part of towns we ended getting some photos at a Wilderness Park in Laguna then headed down to the beach. I took so many photos and Renee changed her outfit 3 times so each outfit change will reflect a new post.

Here are Renee's beach photos. What a beautiful day. Chanel 7 news was at the beach talking about how Laguna is one of the best beaches on the coast. We were on the news, actually the beach that we were at was on the 4:00 news today not us.

Renee's Park Pictures

Here are Renee's pictures we took at a small park in Irvine/Costa Mesa. The two cities are so close together I never know which city I'm actually in. I saw this balloon idea on another blog only she used blue and pink balloons for a maternity photo shoot by Drew B. You can check out her work at http://www.momtog.com/ It was fun except hard to photograph upclose because my reflection was in the balloon. There were a bunch of little kids that wanted the balloons so after we were done using them in the photos Renee gave them to the kids, they were do happy.

Fuller Family

What a beauitful day it was to take some photos down by the beach. My friend Monica asked me to do her family photos and she wanted a sunset setting so we headed down to Laguna Beach. Another photographer showed me this place about a week ago where I shadowed her photo session. I held up the sun shade and it was nice to see how another photographer works. Heather & Payton

Today I went to visit my good friend Heather and her daughter Payton. I have not seen them since Kadin's 1st birthday party back in April. We missed Payton's 2nd birthday party because we were in Florida so I brought Payton's gift with me. I made her a tutu and she absoutly loved it. It fit her perfectly and she loved wearing it. While I was at Heather's I got to take some maternity photos for her. I am going to have to do more in her 9th month, right now she is only 6 months along and still so small, wish I had her body when I was pregnant. She looked great and I can't wait to do more maternity photos of her.
